Acknowledgement about the Citizenship of Dr. Ziva Rozen-Bakher
Portuguese Citizenship: 07 June 2017 - Current.
Portuguese Citizen Card: 32015245
Portuguese Passport: CC536599
Former Israeli Citizenship: 12 July 1963 - 18 March 2019. Dr. Ziva Rozen-Bakher was born in Israel, but she renounced her Israeli citizenship in March 2019, including returning to Israeli authorities all her Israeli formal identification (Israeli Passport, Israeli Citizen Card and Israeli Driving License), as well as the termination of all her assets and financial affairs in Israel, so since then, she only holds the Portuguese citizenship (see Renouncing of Israeli Citizenship by Dr. Ziva Rozen-Bakher, 03/2019 https://www.rozen-bakher.com/renouncing-israeli-citizenship-z). Besides, Dr. Ziva Rozen-Bakher did not serve in the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) due to marriage and study. Moreover, her son, Daniel Bakher, also renounced his Israeli Citizenship in March 2018 (see Renouncing of Israeli Citizenship by Daniel Bakher, 03/2018 https://www.rozen-bakher.com/renouncing-israeli-citizenship-d). Note, Daniel Bakher did not serve in the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) because he permanently left Israel and renounced his Israeli citizenship before the recruitment age for the IDF, but despite it, including informing the IDF about it, the IDF tried to force Daniel to be a ‘Lonely Soldier’ in Israel by declaring him a Deserter with a penalty of up to two years, despite that he is a Forign Citizen that resides in another country, which violates the International law and even contradicts the recruitment regulation of the IDF, namely the IDF can recruit only soldiers that are Israeli citizens who live in Israel. As a result, since 2018, for more than 8 years, the IDF de facto prevented Daniel from visiting his sick father in Israel, who is in a very bad condition after several strokes, as well as his elderly grandparents (ages 90 and 86), who also live in Israel.
