Timeline of Eneco Operation

  • On 17 December 2020, Dr. Rozen-Bakher made a contract with Eneco regarding gas and electricity that was supposed to start on 9 January 2020.

  • A few days before 9 January 2020, Dr. Rozen-Bakher got an email from Eneco that ‘Everything according to Plan’.

  • On 9 January 2020, the day of starting the contract, Dr. Rozen-Bakher tried to log in to her Eneco account to give the ‘Start-Timer’, but Eneco system gave a notice that her bank account is not recognized, despite that she gave her Dutch bank account to Eneco when she made the contract on 17 December 2020.

  • From 9 January until 11 January 2021, Dr. Rozen-Bakher didn’t receive any notice from Eneco that exists any problem with the contract, yet the contract didn’t start, so Dr. Rozen-Bakher tried to approach Eneco to figure out why the contract didn’t start.

  • On 11 January 2021, Eneco informed Dr. Rozen-Bakher via Twitter that the contract that she made on 17 December 2020 is not valid without giving any explanation why Eneco cancelled the contract. Worse, Eneco did not give any formal notice that the contract was cancelled.

  • On 12 January 2021, Eneco tried to force Dr. Rozen-Bakher to make a new contract with Eneco, while Eneco refused to give formal notice that the old contract was cancelled and why. More specifically, on this day, a representative of Eneco made an aggressive phone call with Dr. Rozen-Bakher that included yelling at Dr. Rozen-Bakher in trying to force her to make a new contract with Eneco.

  • Due to the refusal of Eneco to give a formal notice about the cancellation of the contract and why, then Dr. Rozen-Bakher made a new contract with another firm.

  • On 25 January 2021, Eneco sent a letter by email for payment of 20.13 Euro, despite that Eneco cancelled the contract. Worse, on this day, Eneco even ‘took’ from the Dutch bank account of Dr. Rozen-Bakher 50 Euro, despite that Eneco cancelled the contract, and despite that the system of Eneco on 9 January 2021 did not recognize the bank account of Dr. Rozen-Bakher as mentioned before. Dr. Rozen-Bakher instructed her bank to cancel this payment because Eneco cancelled the contract.

  • On 23 February 2021, Eneco sent a letter with a demand to pay 90 Euro, despite that Eneco cancelled the contract.

  • On 6 March 2021, Eneco sent an additional letter with a demand to pay 90 Euro, despite that Eneco cancelled the contract.

  • On 22 April 2021, Dr. Rozen-Bakher received by email a letter from Syncasso-the Debt Collector of Eneco, with a demand to pay 110.43 Euro to Eneco, despite that Eneco cancelled the contract.

  • On 6 May 2021, Dr. Rozen-Bakher received a second letter by email from Syncasso-the Debt Collector of Eneco, with a demand to pay 110.48 Euro to Eneco, despite that Eneco cancelled the contract.

  • On 2 August 2021, Dr. Rozen-Bakher received a letter from EDR, another Debt Collector of Eneco, with a demand to pay 110.82 Euro to Eneco, despite that Eneco cancelled the contract.

  • On 10 September 2021, Dr. Rozen-Bakher received a second letter from EDR, the Debt Collector of Eneco, with a demand to pay 110.97 Euro to Eneco, despite that Eneco cancelled the contract.

  • On 27 September 2021, Dr. Rozen-Bakher received a third letter from EDR, the Debt Collector of Eneco, with a demand to pay 111.03 Euro to Eneco, despite that Eneco cancelled the contract.

Dr. Rozen-Bakher refused to pay to Eneco any payment because Eneco cancelled the contract without giving any notice about the cancellation or explanation for the cancellation.
