Is the Political Assassination done by Internal Players or by External Players?

Do we need to refer to Political Assassination in a Democracy as a Coup in order to Transform the Regime in terms of Internal Public Policy, Foreign Policy and Geopolitical Interests?

How Do Political Assassinations Impact Geopolitical Stability?

Global prosperity is determined first and foremost by geopolitical stability.

Political assassination in a country undermines political stability, but it also could undermine regional stability and even geopolitical stability.

A coup is carried out by a military force in order to oust the current regime by taking control of the country's affairs, while a political assassination is carried out by political players, either internal or external, in order to oust the leader, so the outcome in both cases is a regime transformation.

In spite of that, the literature refers to a coup as a 'regime transformation', while it refers to political assassination, especially in a democracy, as a 'security fault' or as an extremist hate crime, despite that it leads de-facto to a regime transformation, even if the democracy remains, because any political leader has a different political agenda that transforms the regime in terms of policy and international relations, such as the dramatic change in the Israeli policy under Rabin before his assassination versus under Netanyahu after the assassination of Rabin.
