24 March 2024 at 07:01. The USA Military should be more accurate because the Houthis can not see who the owners of a vessel in the Red Sea are but only which Flag rises on the vessel. Thus, in this case, a Panamanian-flagged tanker was attacked by ballistic missiles fired by Houthis and not a Chinese-flagged tanker. Hence, two important questions arise: Why did the Houthis attack a tanker from Panama? And more importantly, which 'Flags’ are at risk for attack from the Houthis on the Red Sea? The answer to both questions is simple, namely those countries that don’t recognize the State of Palestine are at risk for an attack on the Red Sea by the Houthis.
