14 April 2022 at 18:44. Christianity is the largest religion in the world. Christianity has started from one man in 1AC to more than 2 billion believers 2000 years later, so what leads some religions to become big ones, while other religions to shrink or even to disappear?

Many explanations were given for the rise or fall of religions, yet if I need to describe in one word why did Christianity become the largest religion in the world, then I suggest the word ‘Welcome’. Whenever you enter a church, you are always welcome. No one asks you who are you? From where are you coming? and why are you coming? You are always ‘Welcome’, which is not the same in other religions. ‘Welcome’ represents an open door, while questions represent conditions for opening the door, so a closed door represents that you are not part of us. Thus, ‘Welcome’ religions are likely to spread, while closed religions are likely to vanish.
