03 May 2024 at 20:07. There is a BIG Contradiction between the news in Israeli newspapers and the news in the Arab newspapers about Saudi Arabia and Israel. The Israeli newspapers speak about the forthcoming Normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel, while the Arab newspapers speak about the forthcoming Sanctions against Israel by Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other Muslim-Arab Countries, so let’s call this contradiction the 'Israeli Illusion', because Suadi Arabia together with Egypt and others demand to impose sanctions against Israel. Tomorrow, on 04-05 May 2024, is going to be held the 15th edition of the Islamic Summit of Heads of State and Governments of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) with the participation of 57 member states of the OIC, so I am sorry that I am going to spoil the Israeli dream about Normalization with Saudi Arabia, because my prediction is that it is highly likely that this summit may end with a decision to impose Sanctions against Israel or shortly after that via a joint decision by the OIC and Arab League. Importantly, Saudi Arabia and others demand that Israel will end the Occupation of Palestine, Recognise the State of Palestine, and allow the establishment of a Palestinian state based on the 1967 Green Line. It is hard to see how those in Israel who dream about the ‘One-State Solution’ will agree to these demands to get Normalization.
