Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is a political and economic alliance in the Gulf region that plays an important role in the Muslim-Arab Bloc. GCC has the Peninsula Shield Force (PSF), which is based on a military defence treaty with a hard definition of commitment to defend in the case of an attack. However, the members of the GCC heavily depend on foreign military presence in their territories, especially the USA army, which has numerous military bases and military installations in the countries of the GCC.
