Terrorism List

The Motto of the USA about Terrorism: “If you are my Ally, you are not a Terrorist, but if you are not my Ally, you are a Terrorist”. ZRB

Looking at Terrorism worldwide to identify risks of Global Terror Groups that act in various countries (e.g., Islamic State) versus Local Terror Groups or Lone-Wolf Terrorists that act in a certain country, yet we should also look at countries that act as a Terror-State by using Terror Methodes against rival countries or against civilians under occupation, either Formally like the State of Israel against Palestinians, or Informally like the Israeli settlers in the West Bank. Importantly, we should distinguish between Terror Groups and Military Resistance Groups under occupation (e.g., Hamas) that have the legitimacy to resist the occupier if the occupation violates the International Law, so the Military Resistance Groups in WWII (e.g., in Norway and France) against the occupier, the Nazis, should give good examples of who are Military Resistance Groups. Worse, as a Political Tool, the USA frequently designates Resistance Groups (e.g., Hamas), Nations (e.g., North Yemen-Houthis), and even Formal Armies (Iran Army) as ‘Terror Groups’, while the USA removed Syrian terrorists from the USA’s List of Terrorists when Saudi Arabia became the Patron of Syria after the fall of the Asad regime, despite that the Syrian Transition Government includes too many 'Retired Terrorists', yet the USA designated Hamas as a Terror Group despite that Palestinians suffer from Genocide, Starvation, Ethnic cleansing, and harsh Occupation, in spite of the fact that Hamas has the legitimacy to resist the Israeli Occupation of Palestine according to international law, so the Motto of the USA about Terrorism - If you are my Ally, you are not a Terrorist, but if you are not my Ally, you are a Terrorist. Worse than that, with too many cases to count, the USA and Israel act as a ‘Terror-State’ when they use terror methods to carry out Coups, Armed-Riots, Pogroms, and Assassinations in other countries.

The Case of the Houthis

The Houthis have been designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization by the United States following the Saudi-led coalition that has tried to take control over Yemen when the Yemeni civil war erupted only four years after the failed unification of Yemen. North Yemen (Sanaa) was an independent country and a UN Member before the failed unification of Yemen between North Yemen (Sanaa) and South Yemen (Aden). North Yemen (Sanaa) includes more than 30 million people, so the Houthis are not Terrorists nor Rebels but the legitimate people of North Yemen (Sanaa).

The Current Control Status in Yemen

Note, there is a dynamic in the map below on a daily basis. Currently, the ‘Yemen Internationally Recognised Government’ is losing even more control over Yemen due to the United Arab Emirates-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) that took control over more territory.
