OIC - Organisation of Islamic Cooperation

OIC is a Political Alliance that aims to be a collective voice of the ‘Muslim World’ including protecting its interests, still, keep in mind that there are Members and Observer States of OIC that don’t have an Islamic majority in their countries, yet these members and Observer States act upon the Interests of the ‘Muslim World’. Notably, amid the Civil War in Syria, the OIC Suspended Syria in 2012, while the Arab League Suspended Syria in 2011. However, in 2023, the Arab League restored the Membership of Syria during the Assad regime, while the OIC restored the Membership of Syria in 2025 after the fall of the Assad regime.
